It wouldnt find the additional drive so I unplugged power plugged it back in. Now unplug or keep new usb plugged in whatever I do DVR simply wont show on webpage and it just shows page timed out.
why is my additional USB not showing up as an alternate place to store...raspi says its working now fully functional...should another option be available fo rme to save to?
these step by step articles are all cool and nice but you need video tutorials. The words written down don't really help much

so I just downloaded my DVR server image to a linux VM in my dell server but none of the stuff is in here like my previous settings or saved passes.
yup I did this and im at restore from back up and nothing is there just current hd
I've not used the raspi but for me my linux os requires me to map the drive in fstab.
What does that mean? Did you copy over the Database and TV and Movies folders from the old DVR? Do you see the Database directory in the restore browser?
