Just seen this artice about changes coming to Pluto TV.
Not sure how this may affect FAST usage in Channels DVR via the various methods in use.
Such as @KineticMan FastChannels. or @Bobby_Vaughn Windows app.
Might mean that DRM is on the way...
As we all know, the streaming landscape shifts quickly. The article mentions a greater emphasis on VOD viewing. It's hard to say if that will mean less live channels to stream, or that DRM may eliminate simple access to existing channels. Only time will tell.
Thankfully, we have CDVR and these wonderful supplemental projects to help us keep up with the changes. FastChannels, and the latest Pluto projects have already incorporated user credentials before they become mandatory.
