The very first item should be port number. You have to make an initial save on dashboard.
IF you are running one of the latest versions, AND you clicked on "Save Logins", it saves the port in the settings.json file.
Heh, I had just fixed that. After I loaded the first couple versions I started simply replacing the exe. Just deleted everything but the exe and the port appeared in the settings. Thanks!
I have 2 instances of this program running fine.
Each one in its own named folder on C:. One of the exe has been renamed.
Have the renamed one set to lanch after login via Task Scheduler.
The first one opens normally on port 7777. Several seconds later, the 2nd one opens, on port 7778.
I also have Channels server .exe set to launch after login via Task Scheduler as well, with a 1 min delay, so that the Pluto things are loaded first, other wise, Channels loads and see no Pluto channels.
I have rebooted my server PC several times, and not had them change ports once.
That sounds like a good idea for specific issues of one user.
The current latest version v1.1.2 working well for me.
Unless there is a significant reason to update or change something, I see no reason to on my end.
Thank you for the update.
Appears the switch from HLS to Mpeg-ts works here on 1.12.
Awesome. Thank you all for your patience and help.
Hi, since version 1.1.1 when ads transition the stream stop on my device, need to switch to another channel and switch again to the channel.
Also have audio sync issue.
No problem before 1.1.1. Tested 1.1.2, same issue.
French channels here.
On the device (Linux PVR Device) I use with my playlist, I can’t switch HLS to MPEG.
If you can't switch from HLS to MPEG-TS, I would stick with Release Pluto-Windows-4Cv1.1.0 · nuken/Pluto-Windows_4C · GitHub. It has a simpler way of providing the stream link.
Edit. When I was testing the streams from Pluto, there were all kinds of issues with the way Pluto injected the commercials on the server side. Audio and Video issues. Without the stream being repackaged, which is what Channels does with MPEG-TS in their custom channels, there will be timestamp and codec issues.
Yes before 1.1.1 no audio sync issue etc.
Maybe add a setting in your software to switch HLS to MPEG ? I don’t know if it’s possible.
This script doesn't have the ability to change the stream, that would have to be done by the player that it receiving the stream. If one of the releases works for you, I would stick with that version. The last few releases are all to try and address specific issues with Channels DVR. There were not any new features added.
So, you aren't using CHANNELS Dvr for this? You are using a separate IP player device to view the Pluto stream through the .m3u created by Bobby_Vaughn's project?
You can also use VLC or any other player that takes a network stream.
Great point. VLC is much better at poor quality streams.
Yes, it’s a Satellite Linux PVR device (Dreambox 900 UHD), I’m running a plugin to generate a full IPTV bouquet of PlutoTv with EPG like a normal TV bouquet, so I can switch from a Satelite channel to an IPTV channel, even record the stream. I just edited the plugin to create the m3u from my PC with Bobby_Vaughn's project instead the Matt Huisman JMP2 server as it’s broken since the change.
If one of them works, I would stick with that one. If none work for you, I can create a test version for you that will provide me a log to track down issues with it.
Thanks, no problem. It was just in case you release a major update with some mandatory changes.
And no problem if you want some logs with a test version
If I do release a new version with new features, I will build a version off of the 1.1.0 version too and give it an alternative release title. 1.1.0 is the version you said worked for you, Correct?
Have you tried this docker version to see if it works?
