I also tried running it again without the :Z, :z flags and it installed and says it's running but can't reach the webpage once again...
You're mixing SE contexts by continually (re-)running with the same directories. You are creating issues that aren't normally there. Your number one issue: using an "enterprise" distro for personal issues, and then trying to wrangle it into a local rootless instance.
Here is my advice, and which I use: pick a modality, and stick with it.
After you have settled upon that, then address your issues.
(Unfortunately, you are hitting multiple issues at once:
- You are struggling with containers
- You don't understand SELinux contexts
- You have networking/firewall issues
- You are using an enterprise distro which is ill-suited for home use
You don't seem to get how the intersection of these things work to your favor ... and until that happens, I can't really offer any help.)
Definitely get what youâre saying. Lots for me to learn!
I guess I had picked the redhat distro figuring it would give me an opportunity to learn it considering thatâs what is used at the company I work for. I get though itâs not meant for home use so prob shouldnât try and do both at the same time.
Really appreciate all the help youâve given me though.
