Live Channels is horrible for rewinding and fast forwarding. Channels doesn’t need Live Channels integration in my opinion since you can use the stock HDHomeRun beta grey app for that.
I picked up a FireTV stick last week and it’s quite nice for traveling with. Small enough to stash anywhere. Remote is wireless and feels much better than the Roku remote. FireOS also lets you login to hotel wifi login pages so no mucking around with mac addresses or wifi sharing required.
Only downside so far is you have to plug in the USB to a wall socket, since it requires 1amp and the USB on the back of the TV can’t push that much power.
What are the odds you make a nvidia shield app? One similar to the apple tv app?
