I have updated to a new router the Asus GT-AX11000 and I can't get to the DVR using http://dvr-lcars-lr.local:8089/admin/dvr, I am looking for the port fwding instructions for channels. For whatever, I can't find them. Thanks for the help.
Can you access it by your server's IP address? mDNS might need more work/setup to get going on your router, but direct access by IP should always work.
(You are trying to access from within your home network with that address, right? Port forwarding is only used for accessing your DVR server from outside your home network, and that is done through a .channelsdvr.net domain.)
I can access it seems with the direct IP address from apple tv and my iphone. I was wanting to make sure the http://dvr-lcars-lr.local:8089/admin/dvr was working and why I can't access that.
Try toggling the bonjour checkbox on the dvr settings page
I toogled on/off rebooted and http://dvr-lcars-lr.local:8089/admin/dvr appears to now be working. I think I also have port fwding setup correctly for remote viewing. Thanks!!
