I have the Server image on a USB flash drive on a PI. That has been working great. Currently using a network drive for storage. That is not working so well.
I have a 1tb external USB drive, but apparently the PI doesn't have enough power to keep it going. I tried a powered USB hub, but either it is too old or something as it didn't work either.
Can someone recommend a powered drive enclosure that might work? Thanks.
A simple WD Elements drive would work fine. Basically any external drive that has its own power supply is what you should be using.
I already have a SD drive in an enclosure, but it's not powered. Was just looking for a powered enclosure I can put it in. Don't particularly want to buy another drive.
Buy a powered usb hub
