This always happens whenever I record Premier league football games. Example… the Leicester City vs Newcastle game is fully recorded. But when I go to play the recording it starts playing at around 20mins. into the game, then 3 seconds later I get a start from beginning pop up. Problem is you see the score at the 20 min mark. Very annoying. Every other recording is fine, only sports recordings.

What channel is it recording from?
Does the DVR Log show it starting on time or is it getting delayed?
Game is on USA. The recording starts on time and records properly. It’s when I go back to watch the game, the playback starts way into the recording. Then a pop up shows up in the bottom right to start from beginning.
Is it recording from TVE or PRIME tuner?
Does the timeline show dimmed out section at the beginning? Maybe its detecting a commercial and yu have it set to skip commercials automatically?
What device are you watching these recordings from?
I have HD Prime tuners. Dvr server is an older iMac. Watching playback on Apple TV 4K. This seems to have started sometime this year. Was hoping it would sort itself out through an update but it still does it. I can submit logs.
