Premium's Possible?

Might it be possible to add premium channels (hbo,ST,Epix...etc...) through a separate authentication outside of TVE? like showtime anywhere or hob go??

They don't have live streams, except for Showtime.

I'm curious about this, too. How do Amazon and Apple offer them in their channels? As long as it's paid for, what's the problem?

Obviously, I'm ignorant about all of this. But I'd love to learn the ins and outs of why this is so difficult.

How do Amazon and Apple offer them in their channels?

Amazon and Apple have made deals with HBO, Starz, etc. that allow them to make their programming available within their application (Amazon) or device (Apple). It's very different than how Channels works.
