Prevent Channels from playing alternate channel when another isn't working?

For example. I have ABC Detroit channel and ABC New York Channel. If the stream for Detroit stops working, Channels plays New York instead. Why? And can I prevent it?

Change your channel names or call letters. Channels is doing this because it’s falling back, this is actually a very important feature that works well with first party sources and guide data.

But you are using third-party EPG data and third-party channels via custom channels. Your channels are not named in a way that work well with this feature, so you’re gonna have to handle it yourself.

Tl:dr: If your channels are named the same thing, the app will think they are the same channel.

They're named differently, though they both have "ABC" in the names. They each use Channels EPG data for their call letters, selected from "All Lineups".

If it's not a bug, I'll deal with it.

This problem happens when I am not using Custom Channels, but rather HDHR and TVE. So, do I have the ability to change the name? This also happens even when my Custom Channel is being used, but the channel name is not the same, just the programming data is.

I often see this problem when watching sports, e.g., the OTA CW doesn't come in, so I want to use a CW from a different city, but despite selecting a different feed, the video is the same (i.e., suffers from the same OTA problems).

Can you submit diagnostics from the app after this happens
