Prevent clients from deleting only certain episodes/passes

If this is already an option, I apologize, but I searched and don't think this can be done. I'd like to set only certain shows to be able to be deleted by client devices. I know I can set things globally to allow/prevent certain clients from deleting content, but I think it is all or nothing for all shows.

Example: I have a Pass set up for "Friends" and have the entire series recorded. I want client devices generally to be able to delete recorded content, but not be able to delete Friends.

(A secondary question — if I work around this by moving all my Friends episodes into a different folder where my Local Content resides, will the detected commercials be preserved?)

Deletion protections are not atomic at the TV Show or Movie level.

Yes, if you enable the EDL export in the integration settings. This will dump files out next to your recording files. Move them all to be imported, and it will use them.

Moving things to Imports and setting Imports as unable to be deleted would certainly solve your problem.
