They do except PayPal as a form of payment. I have made up to 3 purchases using this method. DvdFab Stream is definatey better than recording from PlayOn. It downloads up to 1080p and 5.1. Audio. PlayOn records AAC audio and is very compressed. I am satisfied with the 720p files, much smaller. 90 minute show or movie only takes about 5 minutes to download. Much faster than real time recording.
AnyStream is the one that can only be purchased with bitcoin. I was successul purchasing the product with BOA card if you have one of those. It requires 2 factor authentication if its setup to purchase outside US.
Seems a bit shady, bypassing the DRM and charging a fairly steep price to the end user even though they have no IP rights to the media. Not sure if this is the type of stuff the devs want littering their forum here.

Playon is doing the same thing.... they charge you by the download.

I just checked the terms of service for HBO Max and saw this:
You may not:

use any [...] extraction tools on the Platform
[...] encourage or assist any other person, to take any of the above action
I'm not the police, everybody is free to do whatever they want.
As for me, I'm staying away from this.

Anystream even says what they do is illegal.

It says it is legal for Personal use unless you share the media. Anystream is not illegal sharing the media is. The same as Playon. Playon has been doing this for years and AnyStream is doing the samething.

Anystream and playon legality.
Federally speaking, time shifting and recording is legal. Thats at federal/criminal level. You can record anything you watch. This is no different then screen capturing or dvr a TV show.
Does not mean time shifting is entirely legal. Its almost guaranteed that you are violating EULA/TOS. Again which is civil, not criminal (I think)
I believe playon is time shifting. It records it as it plays. HOWRVER, anystream is not time shifting. It's not recording it as it plays. It somehow just straight up downloads it. Not sure. So anystream create some legal questions.
For that reason, anystream should be kept away from channelsdvr in official capacity. Even though anystream kicks ass and is awesome.

Whatever ever it is I remember when I had Playon my email would pop up before anything would play. Not sure if it still does. My sister who does that kind of law said they are putting any liability on the user.
