Prioritize channels on a tuner

I have 4 tuners on 2 antennas. Two HDHR’s. My antenna’s are pointing in opposite directions to pick up two different cities. I’m running into a problem with the NBC station in City B, but the NBC in City A comes in fine. I’ve excluded NBC in City B so it won’t record on that HDHR.

Is there a way to set the City A NBC channel to always have top priority? What I’m concerned about is the DVR has as many as 4 recordings scheduled at a time. All of my tuners could be tied up and I’m not sure if it would make the decision to use the City A tuner for NBC or just fail to record because it decided to record CBS and ABC on City A HDHR first, before trying to allocate a tuner for NBC…

Hope I’m making sense with the description.

That makes sense, but I don’t think there is a priority on channels. What you could do though is prioritize NBC passes over CBS/ABC show passes.

That’s a great idea! Won’t take care of everything but should be a good fix.
