I've created a Pass that seems like it could bump into a couple individually scheduled programs - so, potentially 3 programs at once. I only have 2 tuners available.
I see an option to set priority among passes; not clear which recording type presides. My desire is to always have the individual recording take priority.
Anyone?
Pretty sure if you look at the scheduled recordings, the one that appears first in that timeslot is the higher priority.

In my limited example, looking at the schedule, it appears that Passes will supersede individually scheduled Recordings with the same start time. I'll run a test with some sample/dummy programs to confirm.
Opposite what I was hoping for, but a bit of a corner case that would have hit with tonite's NFL game and another scheduled recording.
My expectations align with yours: I would expect manual one-off recordings to take priority over passes.
Please report back after your tests, as this might change a few things.
(One way to possibly ensure your manual recording gets precedence is to add a small initial padding, so that it starts recording before the pass would kick in.)
Hmm, good idea. I'm looking for a mostly hands-off approach. If I could start the Season Pass like 1 min late, that would probably suffice. Alas, we can only start programs EARLY.
A custom negative start padding causes it to start late.
