Now that collections have been added to the Android Beta, I have been setting up some movie collections. Everything seems to be working as intended except for adding movies for the Actor Kevin James. Please see my settings below and the results that come back. Some movies have Kevin James in them, but others don't. If I use the smart rule, then there doesn't appear to be a way to remove these other movies easily. Do we know why this doesn't seem to work for this particular actor?
It seems that maybe the rule is matching the name partially, and capturing movies that have other "Kevin"s in them.
We'll look into it.

What does the query show in advanced mode?
I’m seeing this too. My rule was:
cast=[Kevin Hart]
It seems that it’s matching on both words.
Will enclosing the search term in quotation marks help?
Good thinking, but no. I tried including Kevin James in quotation marks, but still the same results.
I did a bit more checking, it does appear that cast=[Kevin James] is matching the cast for Kevin and the cast for James (not Kevin James). Every show I looked at so far includes a cast member with the first name of Kevin, or the first name of James.
