I’ve been away all weekend, so I’ve had good opportunity to further test web streaming. Live streaming has been working very well…I’ve had it running for over an hour with not a single problem. I’ve had trouble with recorded programmes though: they stream fine for about 10 minutes or so and then freeze. I have to stop and restart the stream, then they go for another 10 minutes, then freeze again. I’m on hotel wifi, but I don’t think bandwidth has been an issue since live streaming has been flawless, and I have the transcoder set to 480p/2Mbps. Not sure what the issue could be?
What does it say in the log and underneath the player when it freezes
I don't see anything telling in the log...a few errors during transcoding. At the bottom of the screen it says "Trancoder Finished". If I stop and restart, it picks up from where it froze and says "transcoder running" again. I'm wondering if it freezes at the point where its finished transcoding the entire file???

You could also try the software transcoder to see if its any different…
