Thanks to Mom Nature, I've had no power for over a week.... so there are lots of "Failed - program missed" in my schedule.... my question is, will Channels DVR catch these missing episodes when they come back around in rerun season? Most of these passes are set to "New" but a few are set to "All" since so many times the guide had the wrong description or the stations pre-empt programs for Sportsball games.
I want to catch them later - just hoping I'm not going to have to write down which episodes were missed, and hope I spy them in the guide over the next 6 months....
Unfortunately I think the answer to this question is no. I don’t think channels schedules later airings when a recording fails. You’ll have to find them manually in the guide, most likely.
If the pass is set to "All" and the episode isn't in your library, it is supposed to re-record it from what I understand. If set for "New" you're only going to get shows marked as "New" in the EPG.
Thanks... that's what I was afraid of. I'll change those passes to "All" and see if the missing episodes get picked up at some point.
