Is there a feature to “protect a recording” from deletion. For Example, I have a daily news show I record and set the option to only keep 1 recording. But If there was some special segment and I wanted to keep the episode around. Could I choose not to delete this episode? The only way I see this is to change the season pass to save the show longer. But then I get extra episodes saved.

I agree this would be a useful feature.
We plan to add a feature to let you favorite recordings which will prevent them from being deleted

Hope you don't mind me reviving this thread, but was just curious if this was still on the road map?
We have added this feature in the latest pre-release in the web UI. There is an option in the gear dropdown for recordings labeled "Prevent auto-delete".
