Since CONtv is a streaming-only channel, that's not surprising. It's included in the 6700+ channels, meaning it's not tied to any actual TVE/provider, but rather freely streamed internet feeds.
So why does it show up under my ATT TV Now source as as channel?
Two, then they is no external source to check the guide data with to confirm the season and episode data?
Because every TVE source you add automatically gets every channel numbered 6700 and above; those are all free internet streams.
And for 2, correct. There doesn't seem to be a canonical source for their stream. (At least, I couldn't find one on their site.)
