Provider - YouTube TV

The 2 digit code is legit. It's similar to the way MS MFA authentication works. I even tried to remove my Google Authentication app and that didn't help (I checked settings in there, too).

Thanks for your suggestions.
I have reviewed the security settings on my account and I clearly have 2FA or MFA turned off. I don't have any other security setting(s) that are obvious to me. I have a crazy long password so I have attempted to remove certain security settings off but that has not helped. This is really puzzling.

I already have family Dish access so it's not urgent. I do have a secondary Google account already so I might just try what you're suggesting. In fact, that sounds like the easiest solution. I'll ask my SIL to switch accounts the next time we chat.

@autryld honestly you rarely want any account (google included) especially if it's your primary account to be without MFA, so yes IMO using the "service account" approach for a single use account to allow channels to connect to the youtubeTV family is best so you can maintain proper security on your real account. I was able to turn MFA and passkeys back on and be fully secure again using the service account method.

Now that YouTube TV offers all three C-SPAN‘s, does anyone know if they will provide TVE access? I’ve done a refresh and scan on my Channels dvr YTTV source and so far it still says the TVE access is not available.

If you go to the the Cspan website and try to link your Provider, YouTube is not listed.

Thanks. Hopefully that will change soon.

Looks like YouTube is now listed as a Provider at C-SPAN Live Stream | C-SPAN.org | C-SPAN.org
and they now scan

Some good TVE news for a change.

I mentioned this previously that they should remove it from their list Channels Support - TV Everywhere Availability

Interesting. So Philo is okay, but YouTubeTV not okay. I didn't even know that was possible.

I was on chat with them about 2 weeks ago. They escalated as the agent couldn't figure out why I could access the other channel on the web but not Magnolia even though I could in their app. I'm not holding my breath of course.

Back when I was using Spectrum, I couldn't get Magnolia to work on TVE. Same situation, never resolved. I ended up subscribing to PhiloTV for that one channel. Didn't realize this was also the case with YTTV.

Per their help site it's not available via TVE

Developers, are you able to get HLN working? Please advise.

Funny - FS1/FS2/BTN just stopped working for me:

not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD

I checked mine just now and all three of those are working. Probably a temporary authentication issue. I get that quite often with those three channels.

Replying to this as well as I have YouTube TV with TV Everywhere via channels. At some point in the last month or so I lost access from Channels to many networks. Most notably the full ESPN family of channels and FX. I tried to "Rescan All Channels" and that didn't do anything.

I still get quite a few TV Everywhere channels including TBS, TNT, AMC, TMC, FS1, FS2, B1G, CBS Sports and like 80 others. So it isn't a straight authentication issue but for some reason I lost ESPN, FX, and I'm sure many more. Other people having this problem and tips on what I should do to fix? Channels server is running on an N100 mini PC (Win 11). YTTV TVE lineup below still lists ESPN:

It was all over the forum a while back...

Okay, so it's not just me... Figured that was the case but search didn't turn it up for me. Thanks for confirming my fears.
