Created a new storage pool & vol today on my QNAP; will channels DVR move all my shows from the old location auto-magically or do I hand move them? Thanx in advance…and sorry if this is answered somewhere in this forum…I’ve been away for awhile
You will need to move all the files, and update the DVR settings to point to the new location.
Thanx for the rapid response; I’ve already created the new DVR location pointer in settings; if I hand move the movies & shows to the new location how does the Channels DVR database get properly updated? Does it happen w/o some db sync process?
There is nothing to update in the database. You should already be seeing all your existing recordings and passes in place, unless you reinstalled the software as well?
No…I did not re-install the s/w…will move them now and report back on the
results…
