Quality playing from DVR

I don’t have the iOS app yet, but I’m curious. When playing DVR content in the new app, does it automatically adjust the quality to account for available bandwidth?

Just wondering if it will do fine over a VPN with slower connections (say 1Mbps over cellular or hotel wifi), or if you have to go back to the DVR web player for this.

At the moment the iOS app only streams raw mpeg2, so it is not suitable for remote use.

We are working on remote access support now that the basic DVR features are all implemented.
