I noticed that when removing a channel from the Channels server web interface, it is immediately removed from all of my clients, however when adding a channel as a favorite, it doesn’t propagate to my clients. Is there a way to create a global favorite channels list which propagates to all clients instead of having to manually select favorite channels on each client?

The reason for this, is that when you hide a channel in the Channels DVR Server web admin, it doesn't even get sent to the app when the app loads all the channels.

I don’t know why I didn’t think of that as I’m already using channel collections for virtual channels. 
By the way, does marking channels as favorites serve any purpose from the server admin page?

Yes, it sets it higher in priority when a pass is choosing which channel to record something from, in the case that what it is trying to record is on multiple channels.

They show in the order that you add them. Just remove them and add them in the order you want them.
