We currently have our DVR set up to record to an LVM volume on Linux spanning two disks, one small, and one larger. We are, however, running low on space, and will be adding a new drive. We were wondering, if we add the disk, it would be easier to just go to the web page and add it as a new storage path. But when doing that, what is the policy Channels uses to decide where to store the data? On the main page, the total disk available is not updated, giving the impression it only stores on the one path under Basic Setup. Is that the case? If that is the policy, then we will have to update our LVM volume to include the new drive as well. Please advise. Thank you and great product.
Correct new recordings go into the main path only
The secondary paths are used to find recordings during playback if they are not present on main storage
