QUESTION about Playon

Can it record anything as long as I have web access? There is a concert happening on Weverse that happens in the middle of the night. I bought passes. But it starts at 3am my time.

Also, can I still record to my desktop? I have a lifetime pass I bought years ago. I'd download to my hard drive and transfer to an external drive.

Are there other message boards that could answer the above questions?

I appreciate any and all help. Thanks!!

I use playon a lot. (It is very slowly downloading every tv show ever)

Its great. Only problem is the 720P quality. Thats why i dont download scifi and action. Its great for TV shows.

As long as it is a service that supports playon you should be fine. However if the event is a "live" event you may need to wait till its streamable. I dont know if Playon can do a "live event"

PlayOn does 1080P now. Though it uses 3 credits per recording instead of 1.

He has playon desktop not cloud. 1080p isnt available on desktop version.

However the playon cloud tool is really great. Im glad to have it integrated into channels. My wife uses playon cloud to find episodes that the DVR messed up recording Usually because sports games went to long. Or the president wants to talk.

I would say, Yes. Can't speak directly to your 'bought passes', but I have used PlayOn to record rental movies. I just rent them and before the rental period is over, have PlayOn record them. No issues.

When I say pass, I mean tickets to a BTS concert (well 2) that are shown only on Weverse.com .I figure if anything, I can just manually start it if it works on the Weverse site.

How easy is it to use the cloud vs desktop?

Thanks!!

It does not work that way it records from the channels available on PlayOn.
