Question about YouTube TV & T-Mobile 5G home internet

I currently have spectrum internet & an essentials tv package but with thier continued price increases im looking to cancel. So my only option for intermet is t mobile 5g home intermet & i was thinking of switching to youtube live tv. I have no issues with spectrum & cdvr but would like to hear how people with the above setup are fairing on cdvr. From what it looks like both dont play nice with cdvr or am i wrong? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks
Dom

My advice, if it aint broke dont fix it. Understand you want to save money but if you have reliable internet via cable modem you arent going to replicate that with 5G. Speed, latency, incoming connections (without tailscale), and possible service reliability are going to be an issue.

I've seen people switch because their monopoly provider sucked and they had terrible service. 5G home internet was the best option. Some who were casual users and only did email, facebook, IG, etc had zero issues. My personal opinion, dont let price be the only driver here. FWIW

I have had T-Mobile Home Internet twice.

Frist time (2020) was 4G-LTE Askey Gateway, worked OK for about 3 months untill the closest tower went dark. Went back to cable as a new customer.

Second time (2021) was the 4G/5G Nokia Gateway. It worked great for 10 months than the tower upgraded to N41 and the gateway would not connect. Replacement Gateway was junk. Also Hulu live TV doesn't work with T-Mobile Home Internet.

I'm staying with Cable until Fiber is available.

Wireless internet is for people who cant get real internet. I would KILL to have overpriced cable internet in my are.

I have had fantastic results with t-mobile 5g home internet. I think performance depends on what city and location you have.

Im getting 500mb down 80mb up, 15ms latency.
I have a double NAT config behind the t-mobile gateway which is a cgnat.

When away from home I use tailscale and it plays very nice with channels and my other needs.

Your milage may vary with the 5g service. I signed up for it when they had a $25 per month deal.

I dont use youtube TV, but have many streaming services all working great.
