Any possibility of adding this option while watching a recording? I know it's mainly meant for live TV but sometimes you just want to see what else is on while you're watching a recording. Useful for sports watching to me.
Thanks for the feedback, but there's no plans to use the Quick Guide while watching a recording.
But we do think the same kind of UI element could be improved when watching a recording, like showing the next episodes of a show you're watching, etc. So hearing feedback like this is helpful for us.
In these instances, I just use Picture-in-Picture while navigating the guide, it works very well for me (at least on AppleTV) and has become second nature.
I also appreciate being able to just use my iPhone or iPad as a second interface screen from the couch, the tight integration and “Play to TV” functionality makes it all pretty seamless.
