I moved the HD from a Mac to Rasp Pi. Went thru restore process, but when I enable DVR I get a Write Permissions error.
Does the drive need to be reformatted first? I saw a similar thread about moving a HD and the comment was no formatting just go thru restore process.
What file system is it using? I don't think it works with HFS
Ah, yes! It is HFS+. So I need to save off the files to another drive and reformat? For Pi specifically?
Yes unfortunately. Or you can use that drive as-is as a secondary storage path, and attach a new drive formatted as exFAT for new recordings.
