So during my quest of testing channels and investigating options, I saw that there was a special Raspberry Pi image that could be loaded into a Raspberry Pi. What is the best model of Raspberry Pi that can use the Channels Image and is there a document or page to go where I can learn more?
I am testing with an old HP computer that I got for free right now. It has an AMD A8 processor and 8GB of RAM.
Never used a Raspberry Pi, but I like the idea of a purpose built device without all the added bloat that a Laptop or desktop comes with. Curious of the performance and longevity of such a set up.

Just to be clear, because I don't think I've seen it explicitly stated: is anything more than 2GB just wasted? Can the DVR server make any use of anything above 2GB?
It's not wasted. It will be used but is not necessary.
