Raspberry Pi with tuner as well as HDhomerun tuner

Hi, Im having difficulty getting hold of a second HDhomerun tuner here in the UK (they seem to be permanently out of stock) but I have read that its possible to use a raspberry Pi and a TV hat with Channels.

Currently I run Channels server on my Qnap NAS. Would I be able to buy a raspeberry pi and TV hat and add it as a tuner to my existing setup?

I'm not aware of anyone using this setup, and it will not be easy or straightforward compared to how the HDHomeRun works. Not to say its not possible, but you will likely need several pieces of software chained together like tvheadend feeding into Custom Channels.
