Re-encode Content then add back to NAS

I've been trying to take content on my NAS and pull the MPEG2 videos into handbrake and re-encode in h.265. Then I add them back into the same tv series folder with the same name but they are .mkv.

I don't see them in the list any longer. Do I need to do something else?

Just use the mpg extension. If you change the filename, Channels DVR Server can't find it anymore.

Once you do this though, you should refresh the metadata on any item you have replaced.
