Recent Channels versions not showing an up-to-date recordings list

This is still an issue in the latest tvOS beta: 7.15.2218.

Recording state isn't being updated for individual recordings. So if I look at the list of recordings for a show that's 1/3 finished recording, and again after the halfway point, that red circle remains showing that it's 1/3 recording. Once the recording is complete, the red circle is never updated to reflect that it's a complete recording. Nor does it update its watched state.

I can correct all these things a single time through a force-quit/restart of the app on tvOS.

To recreate, in it's simplest form:

  1. Pull up the recordings tab in tvOS while any recording is in progress.
  2. Watch the list of recent recordings not update state of anything that is inflight.

This is reproducible on-demand, every time.

I am having the same issue. I downloaded Test Flight app and tried to install the Beta but it needs a permission code from the developer.

I got an email but when I enter the code, it says it has expired.

To be clear, what I am seeing is that "recordings" does not show everything that has been recently recorded. Movies are only showing up under the movies tab, etc. It used to be that "recordings" was the one-stop-shop. Maybe this is a change in the way Channels works now? (Not a fan if it is).

Correct. Movies are not appearing in the Recordings list due to a bug. This bug is fixed in the TestFlight version.
