I have a pass scheduled to record all, even repeats, daily
but Channels does not record, nor does it show these in the future schedule
I have tried to delete , then reinstall the pass to no avail
how do I fix ?

Has Channels recorded those episodes before? By default, Channels will not record an episode that it has recorded in the past, even if you have deleted it. To get this behavior, you need to edit the pass and select the "Re-record deleted" option.
Spot on, solved my issue
didnt even know these options existed. but then again, channels is so reliable that I rarely have to get into these menus anyway
