Hi devs, I'm using the HTTP API for a toggle record - is it expected behaviour to not record the selected programme on the guide using this toggle? Does it only work when tuned to a channel? Many thanks.
Yes, it only works while you are currently watching something.
Any mileage to change this behaviour?

There's no plans to change this, as the purpose of the /record endpoint is to start recording what is currently being watched.
Understood - there's a few set top boxes here in the UK which do allow recording from the guide with a record button press that is all. It's nice and quick if you're using the guide, as I'm sure you can imagine, especially if the show isn't on yet.
