I'm currently recording a movie but didn't start in time.. so I decided to try searching for the next showing so I can capture the beginning of the show so my family can watch it later. But all upcoming airings show "recording" as well. What does this mean? How can I record the next airing so that I can capture the next entire show?
This is a bug. You will need to wait til the current recording is over then you will be able to schedule it for the next airing. The bug is on the web UI only so you can also reschedule from the iOS/tvOS/android apps
I think there may be some bug on tvOS and iOS as well. When I select to record the upcoming airing nothing happens. Normally after setting a recording the system will show a clock next to the airing.
Have you tried deleting the partial recording first?
If you want to keep it, you can copy the recorded file first before deleting it.
Try selecting the upcoming showing to record from the DVR Web UI.
