There are a few features which would be nice:
- Ability to be prompted to stop a specific recording when you want to watch live TV and no tuners are available. It’s really annoying when you want to watch that one off sporting event but you can’t get access to a tuner.
- When you select a live TV show to watch which happens to be currently recording, it’d be nice to seamlessly be switched to watching the recording. This way you could get the entire record history if you want to jump back in time. This would also ensure only 1 tuner is utilized for both live tv and recording a show.
