Recording Engine Missed Scheduled Passes

I ran into a situation tonight when I looked at the on now screen and a show that should have been recording had an orange border. I looked in my recordings and for the last three days, everything that should have recorded had a queued status. The web status was showing idle. I never can remember how to restart the server so I made it pull the latest update and when the server restarted the program started recording. After the restart the log shows it marking all the scheduled recordings for the last 3 days as expired. It seems to be chugging along fine now.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to notify for missed recordings? In this situation I don't know how it could cause it probably didn't know it was missed. We have been having issues the last couple days on our TS4K where you would try to open a program or recording and the screen would go blank. May be related. Server is Windows 10, using android and IOS clients.

There isn’t a way to be notified of missed recordings, I’d like to see that in the future myself.

I noticed that this happened again yesterday. I show a few shows that should have recorded in queued status and one in failed status. I checked to ensure that I could actually tune the channels that were giving issues. SyFY was having problems tuning, it would just hang trying to tune mostly although it did tune a time or two. After it would hang, my TS4K would not be able to open any channel, the screen would just go blank and hang and I wouldn't be able to open anything until I did a clear data on the app. At some point I found "Google Chrome must be installed onto your C:\ drive" in the log. I checked (server is WIn10) and chrome was not loaded so installed it. After that, I got a lot more detailed info in the log when it was trying to authenticate to yttv, The same show failed to record on yttv the other day, not sure if that's what causes the recording to stop but I would think its related. I am updating and restarting the server to make sure the queued recording start again. I sent diagnostics under 8b5a3646-ef71-4c01-afe5-c901763aff1f. There should have been recordings at 1,2 and 3am.
