Recording Failures on Channels DVR Server on Unriad Server

UNRAID Version: 6.11.1
Channels Version: 2023.01.23.1746

I am recently experiencing trouble with Channels not recording. I recently noticed that all my scheduled recordings had started to fail sometime between Feb 24 and Feb 27. The specific issue is that the file is created, but no data gets saved to the file. I look at the file system, and it is literally 0 bytes. So in the webgui and on my Apple TVs I see the cards but am not able to play them. This seemed to coincide with an update of the Channels DVR container.

I've been working with support but wanted to open this up to the user base, and perhaps someone can help. Any advice from anyone on where I can start to help diagnose this issue.

You could spin up another test container with a separate storage location and see if the same issue occurs there.

Sounds to me like something is messed up with the docker filesystem drivers.

Sounds like a good test. Not sure how to do that. I am using community apps to install containers. Can you point me to some docs for brining up a container manually?

I pointed the container to a newly created volume and different appdata folder. After I respun the container channels appears to be recording correctly now. I'll need to figure out how to resolve from here but it is progress.

Time to close this thread. There was some unknown issue with the unraid share. After creating a new share and configuring the container to use that share I then able to do an import for the appdata and just did a file copy of all my media to the new share. This was the solution. Why this happened it will remain a mystery. Thanks for everyone's help.
