The OTA recording tonight on NBC of American Song Contest ep06, the .mpg file will not load thumbnail or play for me. In MPV or VLC on PC.
It will playback fine on the Channels Client device (Apple TV) just fine.
I remuxed the file to .TS extension and now it plays back fine on PC.
Something wrong with the file headers or final encapsulation of the audio and video tracks by the dvr?
Loading file into Mkvtoolnix it reports only 2 AC3 audio tracks(it reads the video track as audio)
MediaInfo tool, does not seem to show anything different than previous files.
TsChecker show issues with the file at several time stamps (can't attach files in posts??)
it shows no issues with the remuxed file.
The previous 5 episodes files have had no issues, even with a noted x% signal issues reported.
The web GUI reports recording 1% affected by signal issues and the stats in the logs are:
