Recording Jeopardy, different times same day

This may be related to the SNL issue I had. Where I live, Jeopardy is on twice a day, 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Normally the first one is older shows, the latter showing is usually the currant show. But of course these days both are reruns.

For some reason no matter how I schedule both to record Channels DVR will only record the first show. When I look at the guide the guide lists them as the same season and episode even though they are not. I was thinking this may be part of the problem.

I've tried going in and making two passes, one for each specific time, but that doesn't work either. It doesn't seem to matter how specific or how general I make the pass/passes. It still records the 3:30 show and skips the 4:30 showing.

Any tips?

I am sure I left out relevant details, but I have tried so many permutations, I can't remember them all.

Yes the dvr won't record multiple times if the guide data says it's the same episode

Well, that's a drag since they are not the same episode in reality. Is there some work-around?

So no option to just say "Record anyway". Okay.

This works, but it not really what you want. After the first episode records, find the next episode on the web guide. Click on it. In the lower right, click on the "Recorded button", Click the "Mark as Not Recorded" and then click to record. Both "episodes" will be available to view.
