Every few days the recording for the Today Show will just sit and spin. It doesn't happen every day but enough to be annoying. I have my DVR running on a mac mini and playing on the Apple TV. Any thoughts on what causes this? Thanks.
On the DVR server, what does it show when you view the details of one of those recordings?
I'm assuming your source is HDHomeRun. Confirm?
Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I'm using HDHomerun. On the tracks that do play it has this in the details: Track #0: MPEG-2 video
1920x1080 16:9 yuv420p interlaced 29.97fps
For a track that doesn't it says this: Track #0: MPEG-2 video
0x0 unknown fps
It's worth noting that for the tracks that DON'T play, it has tracks 0, 1,2,3,4 but the tracks that do play it only has tracks 0,1,2.....that seems like it might mean something.
Is the HDHR firmware up to date
Yes, I'm on the most recent firmware.

How is your signal strength? Have you tried rebooting everything? Is the Mac up to date? what version of CDVR are you using? Are you out of disk space?
