Is there a way to make a recording pass only record from a certain channel.

ie I've set something to record on one channel in HD, but the pass has set it up to record from both the SD and HD channel at the same time, thus using a tuner when not needed.

This could then cause issues with users not being able to view channels or a recording doesn't happen

ie 3 tv's all users watching different channels to what is set for recording, when the recording starts, what happens? does one user get booted of the system or does one recording get cancelled?

I have thought about getting another unit,but looks like no more connect duo's on amazon in uk :frowning: and unsure if another quatro would be fine

Passes generally only record a show once. Are you seeing one or two entries in the dvr schedule?

Yes you can edit the pass on the dvr web UI and enter a channel number.

I'm seeing two entries in the schedule one on the SD channel and one on the HD channel

Do i have to go in and make changes to every pass we create so it records only on a specific channel? If so is there no way this can be added as a feature in the app itself, as I don't have to do this for recording using a freeview box or another app

You can submit diagnostics and email support because it doesn't sound like it's working correctly.

You can also hide all the SD channels on my.hdhomerun.com

i've edited the pass and set it to record from the hd channel only.

As for hiding the sd channels, the BBC HD channel doesn't always have content on and you just get a message saying that to watch local stuff you need to tune to the sd channel.

But it would still be good to have the options within the client interface like i get on other apps, so don't have to mess about logging into the admin portal on a pc and change the settings
