For channels like Accuweather which has no actual Guide
BUT does have one hour blocks in the Guide
Why can't I RECORD??
It just says Watch if I try to Record.

6903 Accuweather.... MY BAD.
That one does have actual Guide data and can record.
But I do have a Custom Channel that used to have just one big block for Guide
but now has the Channel name I assigned repeating in 1 hour blocks,
So I hoped I could simply select one of the one hour blocks that corresponds with a show I want and it would record.
But it doesn't.
I have seen the thread on getting this to work but it is a little involved if I remember right.
Seems like just selecting a 1 hour block could be made to record.

Where are you clicking it from that it doesn't show record? Which app or browser?

This no record issue is on Android Tv Onn box.
Just discovered I CAN record using my iPhone.

I Long click on one of the 1 hour Blocks (Which says Fox at 6pm, Fox at 7pm, etc) from Channels DVR Guide
and it shows that 1 hour block name and "Watch", no record option as it does on a normal Record Long press.
Edit.
The Watch option is if that block is playing.
If i long press a future block it just shows the channel name and Fox @ 8pm and “60 minutes today at 9:00 pm” on a white screen no Watch, no Record option.

Hey, I just tried from my iPhone 13 and I do get a record option and it is set to record !!
Great, but why not on the app on Android tv?

Also no Record option on Firestick 4K.
Only from iPhone.
Okay so it's a bug on Android. It will be fixed in upcoming beta release.
