Recordings missing on Android phone and Tab devices

I recently reinstalled my Rasberry Pi Channels DVR server due to the hard disk failing.

I managed to import some of the recordings from the old drive. I'm not sure if this has any bearings on my problem or not.

However I have two problems now.

Most recordings cannot be seen on my Android phone devices, and my Galaxy Tab 7 device, this includes new recordings of shows I did not import, except the lastest recording but none of the older ones. IE you can see the recording from yesterday, but not the days before that. None of the imported show up though, for example for one imported series it tells me there are 16 shows, but none of them appear in the iconic style list so they can be selected or watched.

HOWEVER on channels DVR app running on Nvidia Sheild pro everything can be seen and watched as expected.
I can also see these missing recordings in the server DVR admin page on "DVR Manage" page after a very long pause. Perhaps the cause of the problem below?

The other thing I have noticed, (second problem) is that "Preparing your TV" startup message takes much longer to go off the screen when starting up the apps from cold than it did before all this happened, including on the Nvidia.

Devices:
Nvidia sheild Pro connected to LG 4k OLED screen which seems to work fine.
I think this runs older Android but is up to date for device.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, Honor Pad X9, old Huawei Mate 10 pro phone, Xiaomi Redmi note 10 pro phone - Recordings missing.

All phone and tab devices run Android 13 except old huawei which has android 9 or 10, but not later.
