Remote access IP issue & seperate issue with local time

I have two issues that I have not been able to figure out and I've been procrastinating with getting it fixed.

1. Remote access is not working, see screenshot. It says that channelsdvr.net is pointed to the 193.37.xx.xx IP address but the current IP for this system is 73.119.xx.xx, the 73.119 is correct, I cannot figure out where the 193.37.xx.xx IP is coming from or how to correct it. Amplifi Alien router basically running all defaults with port forwarding rule added for channels. Had same issue with older Nighthawk router.

2. The local time is incorrect inthe web interface, even though the troubleshooting page says it is correct. It's currently 9am EST, guide and future recording are showing 4 hours ahead, shows for example that air at 12pm show them getting recorded at 4pm for example. Shows record correctly, it's just the web interface. Timezone on Setting tab is correct. Apple TV guide and recording times are correct.

  1. In regards to the IP issue: have you tried toggling the "Remote DVR" option off/on? This may help to kick off a a resync of the IP address.
  2. What is the timezone of the computer you are accessing the remote web UI from? Does it match the computer running the DVR, or does it differ?

What IP does ipchicken.com show?

Are you using a VPN?

I am using a VPN on my current PC (work system that I happen to be using at the moment), but I do not have a router/NAS level VPN enabled. The issue is the same on my Mac without VPN. IPChicken shows the correct 73.119 IP.

  1. Well, I feel dumb - "Just turn it off and on again" worked. I had only previously switch between automated and manual configuration. so.... THANKS!
  2. Computer(s) accessing the web UI are all in the same timezone as the DVR, same room in fact - this issue still persists

The time in the web UI is controlled by the browser and local time of the machine running the browser.
