Remote Access Issues

I have been having issues accessing my server remotely for several weeks now. I’m running on an Nvidia Shield and made sure to update all apps and devices. I have 8089 set as the port and cannot even access it via my.channelsdvr.net, let alone through the app. Should I delete the server and reinstall? And it seems every time I try to connect and choose “Away From Home”, I get a different error (see pics) or it does not show anything on the guide, even though I know my HDHomeRun is plugged in and connected.

Both HDHR and Shield are hardwired.

You need to setup your router so that portchecker.co shows 8089 as OPEN

Confirmed that 8089 is open on the primary IP. Does it need to be open for the specific server IP also?

I set up port 8089 to be open on the specific IP for the Shield. Portchecker.co still shows it as closed however I am now able to access the server remotely. Let’s hope it keeps working! Thank you

If you are checking it inside your network it will likely fail due to nat reflection being turned off. Try it from outside your network and you should see it pass.
