Remote Access - TLS handshake error

I am trying to connect remotely from my Google Pixel Android phone to my Channels DVR server (running on a Synology DS718+), but I receive a message stating "Your Channels DVR Server at home can not be reached." The DVR Server is working fine locally and I have also forwarded port 8089 and verified that it is open.

The log shows the following message:

2020/01/30 16:39:22.983377 http: TLS handshake error from 54.242.69.159:42462: remote error: tls: unknown certificate authority

I also noticed that in the Channels DVR settings Remote DVR section, it is constantly spinning on "Requesting HTTPS certificate".

I did the click and hold on the Update button and I'm running version 2020.01.30.2201. I have tried stopping and restarting Channels DVR, as well as rebooting my Synology box. How can I fix this?

Are there any errors in the log about the https or tls certificate?

2020/01/30 16:29:22.523069 [ERR] Generating SSL cert failed: acme: error: 429 :: POST :: https://acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org/acme/new-order :: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:rateLimited :: Error creating new order :: too many certificates already issued for: u.channelsdvr.net: see https://letsencrypt.org/docs/rate-limits/, url:

This issue finally resolved itself and everything is working now. It appears to have been a temporary problem generating the certs.

Thanks for reporting back. We have put in a hotfix and are working on a long term solution to prevent this in the future
