Remote connection server?

Did something just happen with the Channels DVR system that facilitates remote connections? Other remote services with port forwarding are working fine, just not Channels DVR remote connections.

Troubleshooting shows:

Diagnostic logs submitted.

Same issue here. Cannot connect new remote client.

I had a problem logging in here, so may be a temporary thing.

Ya, forum's acting funny, too.

Any ETA?

Same here unable to connect remotely.

Yeah the forums are acting up too. I suspect they are all related and the Devs are aware of it and working on it.

We're looking into it. Possible issues with our cloud provider.

I restarted some of our cloud services in case that helps.

did not help

fyi,

s0.aws-ue1$ host 0afd834b2af3.u.channelsdvr.net
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

the problem seems to be ipdns1 and 2
s0.aws-ue1$ dig @ipdns1.channelsdvr.net 0afd834b2af3.u.channelsdvr.net
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

Yeah, still getting the message in troubleshooting screen that I need to check port forwarding. Port forwarding is set to 8089 and is the same as it was yesterday when working.

Rebooted Channels DVR PC and submitted logs just now.

Thanks! I restarted those services as well and it appears to work again.

This status site doesn't seem to get updated anymore?

It's still a link at the lower right of this page under Support

That’s all manual. Status went green again before we updated it.
