Remote control for an iPad

Remote control for an iPad (running Channels DVR) has been approached more than once in the forum but usually veers off to an explanation of how to control an Apple TV with an iPad.

For those who watch Channels DVR and other video on an iPad, I suggest Satechi Bluetooth Multi-Media Remote Control (Amazon).

I have been using it to control video on my iPad when it is out of reach.

Only controls are start/pause, fast forward, fast reverse, volume and app off. Minimal but enough.

There are some other Satechi remotes on Amazon that might be better.

Great for controlling a late night movie without getting out of bed.

That's this one, I have it too, works well for the iPad mounted on the wall across from my kitchen.

I also discovered this one, which appears to work with newer iPads only and has a "presentation mode." From the sounds of it, would this allow for actual navigation inside the Channels app interface as well? Up, Down, Right, Left, Enter?
