Remote DVR - can't open page

I’m trying to log in to remote dvr to set it up. When I follow the link on the DVR set up, I get Failed to Open page Error in Safari.
Any hints of where to look to resolve?

Are you using https://my.channelsdvr.net?

What is the URL in the browser when you see the error.

Your port-forwarding is not setup correctly.

I’ve been using remote dvr for the first time this weekend. It is fantastic, but in order to keep the ATV on the hotel wifi, I need to spoof the MAC of the ATV on my laptop and enter the wifi access code. I’ve had to do this twice now, once for each day I’ve been at the hotel.

Would this be right? (1.11) is the Mac mini that Channels DVR is on.

The port needs to be 8089. You have it set to https (443).

I have both these set, but still get the error:

I think you need to delete the HTTPS one.

Try https://my.channelsdvr.net first, if that doesn’t work then the app wont’ work either.

No luck, do I need to restart the router?

Maybe. I think the rule should say “TCP 8089 -> 8089” but I’m not sure how you do that on whatever router you have.
